How To Get Rid Of Whiteheads
Whatever you call them, pimples, blackheads or whiteheads, it’s sure that they have to be removed and fast!
Whiteheads are also known as closed comedones because the pores are blocked by dirt. The white is basically the trapped bacteria in the skin as a result of the small opening of the pores. You’ll find that like blackheads, whiteheads can be squeezed out. However, for those who want to learn how to eliminate whiteheads, then know that this is not recommended.
Removing Whiteheads
When trying to remove whiteheads, first make sure that your hands and face are clean. Wash your face with warm water or steam it to unclog pores. Make sure to pat your face with a clean towel when drying. Now, apply pressure to the whiteheads by squeezing the base downward. This movement would break the skin cleanly. However, if the whitehead doesn’t pop out as you expect, then don’t force it to do so. You can repeat the procedure the next day or when you feel as if the whitehead has ripened and is ready to burst. The reason for this is that when popped wrongly or done too soon, the whiteheads can leave an unsightly mark or scar that is even harder to remove.
Preventing Whiteheads
Preventing whiteheads is almost as important at learning how to get rid of whiteheads. Once you’ve removed them, then you must make sure that they won’t appear again. For this, you can try various methods of keeping your pores clean and unclogged. The most common way is by using cleansers containing salicylic acid and benzyl peroxide. You can also create your own cleanser which would be better for your budget. For example, the mixture of oatmeal and milk would make a great face mask. This should help you maintain closed pores. Combine that with proper hygiene and you may never get pimples again.
Learning how to eliminate zits or pimples as they are commonly called can be frustrating. It usually takes a long time for them to heal and they pop out by dozen. Add to the fact that there are many things that could trigger them. Although most can be avoided, there are those that can only be endured. For example, some acne problems caused by the genes can only be maintained. Usually, periods are also capable of triggering pimples. When it comes to this, what you must do is control the event. Anticipate that the pimples will grow and start preparing yourself. Also, be very patient if you want to learn how to get rid of zits. Most treatments takes time so don’t expect changes overnight. However, if you stick to your treatment of choice, then there shouldn’t be any problem.
