How To Get Rid Of Whiteheads

Regardless of what we call these skin problems, the bottom line is that they must be removed from our skin and fast!

Also called closed comedones, whiteheads are basically pores sealed shut by dirt. The white material you’ll find inside is actually bacteria sealed shut. You can squeeze these materials out the same way with blackheads. However, if you want to learn how to get rid of whiteheads, then know for a fact that this is not the ideal way.

Whitehead Removal

When attempting to remove whiteheads, the first thing you should do is make sure that you hands are clean as well as you face. Steam your face to unclog the pores as well as wash it warm water. When drying up the wet skin, don’t rub your face with the towel and instead made deliberate pats on the face to remove excess water. Now, start squeezing the base of the whitehead downwards. This movement would break the skin cleanly. However, if the whitehead doesn’t pop out as you expect, then don’t force it to do so. You can repeat the procedure the next day or when you feel as if the whitehead has ripened and is ready to burst. The reason for this is that when popped wrongly or done too soon, the whiteheads can leave an unsightly mark or scar that is even harder to remove.

Prevent Whiteheads

Preventing whiteheads is almost as important at learning how to get rid of whiteheads. The minute you’ve managed to get rid of them, then you must take pains to keep them removed. For this, make sure that no dirt blocks your pores. You can use either benzyl peroxide or salicylic acid to do this. If you’re on a budget, then try making your own cleanser. For example, the mixture of oatmeal and milk would make a great face mask. This should help you maintain closed pores. With a bit of healthy living and clean hygiene, you’ll find that pimples are no longer your problem.

Learning how to remove zits can take toll on your patience. It usually takes a long time for them to heal and they pop out by dozen. Plus, pimples are triggered by many factors. Although you can avoid most of them, that’s not entirely possible. For example, some acne problems caused by the genes can only be maintained. Usually, periods are also capable of triggering pimples. When this happens, the best course of action would be prevention. Start performing safety measures and anticipate the growth. Also, learn to be patient to successfully find out how to get rid of zits. It takes time so wait for the effects of the treatment. You shouldn’t have any problems once you’ve decided on a method.
